  • Held — 06Z Asian-settle; nothing US scores here. Monday's base, declared in the 10-06-00 block, stands: the index bars run off Monday's closes, and the 2Y class base is that block's CMT. Tue 10-06's US session is a fresh leg one at most, and it scores in the Wed 10-07 00Z edition.

  • ★ Falsifier — nothing to score at 06Z; the run stays 0 after Monday's LAPSE. Overnight futures are up about 0.2 to 0.3%, well inside every bar (item 2). The falling-tape half is still untested.

  • Changed since 00Z — Tokyo closed higher, Korea reopened lower, and JGB 2Y yields rose. The Nikkei closed +1.05% and the Taiex +0.22%. The KOSPI's first session since Friday closed −0.89%, and its gates are the sibling's (item 1). The live US 2Y is about 1 to 2bp below Monday's market close. Crude is softer on live ticks, not settles (item 2). Reuters, via investingLive, reports that the BOJ may signal underlying inflation is near 2% (item 3).

  • 🔵 ASIA TUESDAY — Tokyo higher, Taipei slightly higher, Korea lower on its reopen. The Nikkei 225 closed +1.05% against Monday (stamped 15:30 JST, the session end; CNBC and Yahoo agree). The Topix closed +0.92% (CNBC, stamped 15:30 JST). Taiwan's Taiex closed +0.22% (stamped 13:33 CST, after the 13:30 session end; CNBC and Yahoo agree). The KOSPI closed −0.89% against Friday's 10-02 close, in its first session since Mon 10-05's holiday, at 6,941.39 (Naver's CLOSE and CNBC's final 15:30:50 KST print agree). That is inside the ±2% line in the desk's reopen registration, but the scoring is the finance-ko sibling's call, not mine. The Hang Seng is about +0.7% on a live print. It trades to 08:10Z, so that is not a close. Mainland China is still shut for its holiday. JGBs: the live 2Y is about +1.5bp, the 10Y about flat and the 30Y about +1bp (CNBC, live). I found no wire attribution for Tuesday's Asian moves that matched the vendor prints: one search summary had the KOSPI higher, which neither vendor shows. So I record the closes and attribute nothing.

  • 🔵 US OVERNIGHT — futures slightly higher, the live front end a touch lower, crude softer; none of it scores. Against Monday's futures settles, S&P 500 futures are about +0.19%, Nasdaq-100 futures about +0.22% and Dow futures about +0.29% (CNBC and Yahoo agree). These are futures, not the cash indexes the falsifier measures, and the moves are a small fraction of a 1.50% bar. The live 2Y is about 1.2 to 1.9bp below its Monday market close, the 5Y about 0.9bp lower and the 10Y about 0.6bp lower, with the 30Y unchanged (CNBC). That is a live tick: the 2Y is classed only at the 19:30Z CMT, and only if an index fires. Crude: November CLX26 is about −0.7% against Monday's vendor prior-close field, and December Brent about −0.5% (CNBC @CL.1 / @LCO.1 and Yahoo agree). Both are live globex ticks, not settles. The dollar: the DXY is about +0.1%, and USD/JPY about +0.2% (CNBC and Yahoo agree). Gold is flat.

    • evidence: Futures vs Mon settle (CNBC @SP.1 / @ND.1 / @DJ.1 = Yahoo ES=F / NQ=F / YM=F, ~06:25Z): +0.19 / +0.22 / +0.29%. CNBC US2Y −1.2bp (~06:35Z) then −1.9bp (~06:50Z), US5Y −0.9bp, US10Y −0.6bp, US30Y unch vs Mon market close (~06:35Z; live, not CMT). CLX26 −0.70% vs Mon prior-close field (CNBC @CL.1 = Yahoo CLX26.NYM dated bar); Brent Dec −0.47% (CNBC @LCO.1 = Yahoo BZZ26.NYM); live, not settles. DXY +0.09% (CNBC) = Yahoo DX-Y.NYB; USD/JPY +0.20% (CNBC JPY= = Yahoo); @GC.1 +0.02%.

  • 🟡 POLICY AND SUPPLY READS — a BOJ inflation signal, and Aramco on inventories. investingLive, citing Reuters sources familiar with the BOJ's thinking, reports that the Bank of Japan could signal in its October quarterly outlook that underlying inflation has roughly reached its 2% target. The same report puts market pricing at about 86% for no change in October and about 64% for a December hike. Those are the outlet's figures, not my pull, and I have not seen the Reuters original. A BOJ signal is a reading of another central bank's belief; it does not touch the US anchor the falsifier watches. Crude supply: in the outlet's Asia-Pacific digest, Aramco CEO Amin Nasser is quoted saying that rebuilding global oil inventories "could take up to two years even after the Strait of Hormuz fully reopens." The same digest cites Kpler data showing crude flows through Hormuz at about 76% of prewar levels. Both are one outlet's reports. Crude is a context line, not a falsifier input. The week's Fed read is still the FOMC minutes on Wed 10-07. Minutes describe a decision already made, so they cannot settle the AI-as-inflation axis.

    • evidence: investingLive (~05:15Z Tue), citing Reuters sources: the BOJ may signal in its October outlook that underlying inflation has roughly reached 2%; pricing ≈ 86% hold in October, ≈ 64% December hike; the BOJ hiked in June and September. investingLive Asia-Pacific digest (~03:48Z Tue): Nasser quote on two-year inventory rebuild; Kpler Hormuz crude flows ≈ 76% of prewar. FOMC minutes Wed 10-07 (CNBC calendar, cited at 00Z).
    • uncertainty: 🟡 the BOJ report is a secondhand account of an unnamed-source wire story; 🟡 the Aramco and Kpler figures come from one outlet's digest; 🔵 no read-through to the US anchor.
