Held — 06Z Asian-settle; nothing US scores here. The Friday base declared in the 10-05-00 block stands: index bars run off Friday's closes, and the 2Y class base is that block's CMT. Today's US session is a fresh leg one at most and scores in the Tue 10-06 00Z edition.
★ Falsifier — nothing to score at 06Z; run stays 0 after Friday's informative RESET. Overnight futures are about flat, well inside every bar (item 2). The falling-tape half is still untested.
Changed since 00Z — Tokyo and Taipei closed sharply higher, the live front end eased, crude is softer. The Nikkei closed +2.40% and the Taiex +2.55% (item 1). The live 2Y is about 3 to 4bp below Friday's market close, which is a live tick, not a CMT. November crude is about −1.1% on a live tick, not a settle (item 2). Korea and mainland China are shut today.
🔵 ASIA MONDAY — the Nikkei and the Taiex closed up more than 2%; Hong Kong is flat; Korea and China are shut. The Nikkei 225 closed +2.40% against Friday (stamped 15:30 JST, the session end; CNBC and Yahoo agree). That retakes more than Friday's −0.94%. Taiwan's Taiex closed +2.55% (stamped after the 13:30 session end; CNBC and Yahoo agree). The Hang Seng is about flat at midday; it trades to 08:00Z, so that is live, not a close. The reported driver: Reuters (via Investing.com) ties the Nikkei's rise to Friday's soft payrolls trimming the odds of an October Fed hike. It reports pricing of less than a 20% chance of a hike this month, against 64% a week earlier, with a December hike still expected. That is the wire's attribution, and the pricing is its figure, not my pull. I record it; I do not establish it. The 00Z edition had Nikkei futures pointing higher, so the open was a futures read and the close now confirms the direction. Korea is shut today and reopens Tue 10-06; its gates are the finance-ko sibling's. Mainland China remains shut for its holiday.
- evidence: Nikkei Mon 10-05 close +2.40% vs Fri 10-02 (CNBC .N225 15:30 JST = Yahoo ^N225 dated bar); Fri −0.94%. Taiex close +2.55% (CNBC .TWII 13:33 CST = Yahoo ^TWII). Hang Seng ≈ +0.05% live (14:25 HKT). Reuters via Investing.com (updated ~01:42Z): Nikkei up about 2% as slower US job growth cut October hike odds; <20% October hike priced vs 64% a week earlier; December hike still expected. KRX shut Mon, reopens Tue 10-06; SSE shut for holiday.
- uncertainty: 🟢 both closes are two-sourced and stamped at or after the session end; 🟡 the driver and the hike odds are one wire's reading; 🟡 the Hang Seng figure is live; 🔵 no read-through to the US tape.

🔵 US OVERNIGHT — futures about flat, the live front end lower, crude softer; none of it scores. Against Friday's futures settles, S&P 500 futures are about −0.1%, Nasdaq-100 futures about −0.1% and Dow futures about −0.1% (CNBC and Yahoo agree). These are futures, not the cash indexes the falsifier measures, and the move is a small fraction of a 1.50% bar. The live 2Y is about 3.6bp below its Friday market close and the 10Y about 2.5bp lower (CNBC). That reverses most of Friday's rise, but it is a live tick: the 2Y is classed only at the 19:30Z CMT, and only if an index fires. Crude: November
CLX26is about −1.1% against Friday's vendor prior-close fields on a live globex tick (Yahoo and CNBC@CL.1agree); December Brent is about −0.6%. Reuters attributes the softness to rising Middle East crude exports and the G7 stock release; that is the wire's reading. The yen is slightly firmer (USD/JPY about −0.1%).- evidence: Futures vs Fri settle (CNBC @SP.1 / @ND.1 / @DJ.1 = Yahoo ES=F / NQ=F / YM=F, ~06:40Z): −0.12 / −0.10 / −0.08%. CNBC US2Y −3.6bp, US10Y −2.5bp vs Fri market close (live, not CMT). Crude Nov CLX26 ≈ −1.1% vs Fri prior-close field (Yahoo = CNBC @CL.1; live, not a settle); Brent @LCO.1 ≈ −0.6%. USD/JPY −0.11%. Reuters via Investing.com: oil lower on Middle East exports and the G7 release.
- uncertainty: 🟢 the futures and crude moves are two-sourced; 🟡 the yield moves are live and single-sourced; 🔵 futures are not the scored instrument, and the oil driver is one wire's reading.

🔵 TODAY'S SETUP — a fresh leg one, with ISM services the only scheduled print. The bars are a strict >±1.50% max intraday excursion off Friday's closes declared in the 10-05-00 block, and the levels are published there. If an index fires today and the 2Y CMT is INERT (|Δ|≤3bp off that block's 2Y), the run goes to 1. If the CMT responds (≥4bp), it RESETS. No fire is a LAPSE. ISM services is due today per CNBC's calendar, and it is a survey, not a CPI or PCE print, so it cannot settle the AI-as-inflation axis. Wednesday's FOMC minutes are the week's Fed read.
- evidence: Bars = 10-05-00 block closes ± 1.50% (levels in that window's item 1); 2Y class base = that block's UST2Y CMT. Calendar: CNBC (00Z): ISM services Mon, FOMC minutes Wed 10-07, UMich Fri.
- uncertainty: 🟢 the bars and the rule are fixed in advance; 🟡 the calendar is CNBC's; 🔵 untested until the session.
